What is Adequan® Canine Injectable for Dogs ?
ADEQUAN is the only FDA-approved disease-modifying osteoarthritis drug (DMOAD) that inhibits cartilage loss in the dog's joints, and may help to:
- Restore joint lubrication
- Relieve inflammation
- Renew the building blocks of healthy cartilage
That’s what makes Adequan® Canine different from a supplement or NSAID. It proactively treats the disease and not just the signs of canine osteoarthritis.
How Adequan® Canine Works?
Binds to components of the cartilage matrix to help prevent further degradation of the joints.
- Reduces inflammation and decreases pain.
- Inhibits release of degradative enzymes and inflammatory mediators to help restore balance.
- Stimulates the activity of existing cartilage components and improves synovial fluid to help renew joint mobility.
